A cryocylinder is a cryogenic vessel (container, tank) for storage, transportation and gasification of liquid oxygen, nitrogen, argon, and carbon dioxide.
The cryocylinder consists of an inner and outer container, the space between which is filled with perlite and evacuated. Due to this, excellent cryoproduct storage properties are achieved.
The principle of operation of the cryocylinder is based on the creation of pressure in an internal vessel filled with liquid. Raising and maintaining the pressure in the vessel is provided by a system consisting of a pressure raising regulator and a pressure raising evaporator. From the cryocylinder, the product enters the built-in evaporator, from where the gas under the set pressure is supplied to the consumer.
